GRILLED PEACHES

INGREDIENTS 
  • 4 ripened peaches
  • 1/2 stick of room temperature butter
  • 1 Tsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1 Tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • oil (canola/EVOO)



SETUP


Setup your Big Green Egg for direct grilling and heat to 475F. This recipe is perfect if you have already grilled dinner. Just leave your BGE going. 



INSTRUCTIONS

Start by removing any produce stickers from the peaches. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. 

Half the peaches ad remove the pits. Details in the video below.





In a bowl, mix the butter, honey, sugar, cinnamon and salt.Stir using a fork.

Brush the flat sides of the peaches with oil. The oil will prevent sticking while on the grill. Place the peaches on the grill flat halves down. Continue this process for the round sides 


Grill the peaches until the desired grill marks are achieved. Then flip. 


Once flipped, add a small spoon full of the butter mixture and continue grilling until the desired color. 








These hot peaches could be served with ice cream, creme fresh, goat cheese, cream cheese, etc.
